Description of Keynote - Mary as Evangelizer Part I
The National Directory for Catechesis has issued a call for a “new evangelization”.There is no better example of what it means to be an evangelizer than that of Mary.
She is considered a mirror of the “good news” for women and men of our time.
Catholic educators can play a unique role in responding to this call, especially in how they teach about Mary. Her example of discipleship and witness can be a valuable lesson for students and their families, as well as a sign of what the “good news” looks like when it is lived out!
