~~Being “Catholic" is the decision to be a sign and sacrament of God’s presence in the world."Living" what we profess, declare and teach, reveals a faith that is “alive.” The sharing of our “gifts,” are a manifestation of a faith that is alive.
When what we profess, declare and teach doesn’t line up with our living, it’s an indication for the need for reconciliation. Every moment is a teachable moment, however, there are things that we didn’t intend to do, to teach that need to be humbly admitted, courageously confessed and faithfully transformed.
There are many gifts, but the same Spirit. We are called to BE the gift that God has made us, and share the gifts that God has given. It is different to have the “gift” than “want” the gift.
