Description of Notre Dame Elementary Faculty Retreat
Faculty and Staff of NDE spent a morning of service at St. Anthony of Padual dining Room followed by an afternoon of prayer and reflection on Catholic Social Teaching as it relates to care for the poor and to service. Our reflection was rooted in ND Hallmark 4: We Commit Ourselves to Community Service: We ground our service in the spiritual practice of reflection-action-reflection, and we incorporate this process into our service-learning commitments.
