Description of Celebrating Sr. Dorothy Stang
This is an evening celebrating the life and work of Sr. Dorothy Stang, SNDdeN, who lived and ministered the Gospel among the poor in Brazil, and who was killed for her faith and work on behalf of justice in Brazil in 2005. The evening includes a concern version of "Angel of the Amazon", an opera written in honor of Sr. Dorothy. There will be a panel conversation about Gospel living among the poor and Catholic Social teaching as exemplified by Sr. Dorothy's life.
