Description of St. Pius Faculty Retreat
St. Pius Faculty had a Faculty Retreat on Friday, March 21, 2014. We started the day with 8:00 Mass followed by coffee and a prayer. Then the group was split into 3 groups and sent to 3 different sites to do community service. One group went to the Second Harvest Food Bank to sort and pack food. The second group went to St. Anthony's Dining room in Menlo Park and prepped food for lunch and served the clients there. The third group went to Samaritan House in San Mateo and prepped food for their clients. The groups worked from 9:45-1:00.
All returned to school for lunch where they discussed their experiences. After that the whole group gathered for a prayer service with reflection.
The day ended at 3:00.
