Description of St. Patrick Faculty Advent Retreat
Sister Celeste Arbuckle, our Retreat leader describes our experience this way: We celebrate the life of Mary in the season of Advent because she models for us saying YES to God. In all her life she reflects the patient waiting and trusting in the work of the Holy Spirit. Her life like ours is one of joy- the birth of Jesus, sadness in Jesus death and hope in the resurrection. In reflection on different imagines of Mary we are able to place her life in ours.
