Description of St. Brigid Staff Pilgrimage
Pilgrimage to Spain and Italy to visit the sites associated with Sister Carmen Salles and to Rome to witness her canonization. The trip included visits to numerous cathedrals and churches including St. Peter’s in Rome, sights associated with our faith, such as the catecombs and the coliseum, museums with displays of religious art, and a visit to Florence. In Spain, the pilgrims visited Madrid, Burgos, Seville, and Barcelona. They were accompanied by Monsignor John Talesfore, their spiritual guide, and many Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.
