Description of Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship
The 2012 election is upon us. There is a need to find a way to engage in conversation for the common good. We need to stress the communitarian values of our faith, to discover together what is best for all our citizens, to discover what is best for the common good. People need to know about the American history of religious freedom and about the role of religion and religious debates in public life and electoral politics.
