Description of Scripture
Our faculty retreat was focused this year on scripture. We were prepared with a history of languages from which English versions of the Bible were translated. The difference between literal and dynamic translations were discussed in relation to scripture references in the Mass. We discusses the use of scripture in typical Catholic homes over the last generation and how students today are given a much richer experience of scripture. We wew wncouraged to continue to study scripture with our students daily. Our retreat included a Mass.
