GENESIS – THE BOOK OF BEGINNINGS
This 6-week introductory course to the first three chapters of Genesis will provide participants with a foundation for understanding God’s character, nature, plans, promises, and purpose for mankind. Students will learn how to use a concordance and to cross-reference Scripture in the Old and New Testaments. Participants will understand the Bible not only for its historical content but for its spiritual intent; that is, salvation history. As students interact with this holy text and with one another, pondering age-old theological questions in light of their present-day circumstances, it is hoped the Holy Spirit will cause a renewed interest in their love for God and His body—the Church!
