Description of Good Shepherd Faculty Retreat - Church
Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI has said that the two greatest tools for evangelization are the Arts and the Saints. This retreat will be the launch point of a school initiative, “Creating a Communion of Saints”. This retreat will explore the lives of the saints, their stories and the fundamental beliefs of the Catholic Church professed in the Church’s creeds and mediated upon in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The ultimate goal is to promote encounter and form community between the parish and school to be “Church”.
