The retreat session focuses on the spirituality of Saint Oscar Romero -
The seession will:
1. include a self reflection on social injustices in our world and in our local community
2. review the historical context of El Salvador during Saint Oscar Romer's Time
3. explore the relationship between the State and the Church during this period of history
4. view video excerpts from Saint Romero's life and the plight of injustices at the time.
5 explore the concept of Liberation Theology and see how powerful it can be
6 meditation exercise
7 a call to action - What can we do in our school community to fight injustices.
